Hi there, lovely readers! Welcome to my corner of the interwebs!
Little Me in NYC is a multipurpose lifestyle blog about a girl, a dream, and the big city.
Most people native to Nebraska never leave. Why would they? Real estate prices are dirt cheap, the people are friendly to a fault, and Omaha's bustling downtown is taking off! The only thing missing is access to a good theatre scene.
And that's why I had to leave.
Two years ago I started this blog as I started classes at AMDA, a musical theatre conservatory located in Manhattan's Upper West Side. Before I knew it, I had graduated and had signed the lease to my first apartment. Now I can truly label myself a starving artist.

I'm a singer/actor/dancer first and foremost. I'm also a figure skater with the hopes to one day join Disney on Ice! On the side, I've made coffee, sold dessert, organized costumes, taught figure skating, and made sure kids didn't kill themselves. As a financially independent young adult, I've learned the importance of maintaining a budget tighter than my leotards.
I have been described in many ways before. Excitable. Naive. Innocent. Childlike. Funny. The fact is, I am all of these and so much more. I bring a unique sense of joy and creativity to the acting world, which I have grown to find is a much darker place than the smile-filled singing and dancing would lead you to believe. I'm here to brighten it up.
All my love,
Little Me
Hi Cierra, I really enjoyed reading your blog....in addition to your talents in singing, dancing and of course ice skating, you are a wonderful "author"....I will happily be a subscriber and look forward to reading about your adventures in NYC.
ReplyDeleteHave you found time to ice skate at the outdoor rinks? You are such a wonderful skater and have performed many times here in Omaha-----just one of your many talents. It would be fun for native New Yorkers to watch someone who REALLY knows how to skate!
